The French Oven -The Grainger Market

I adore the Grainger Market. The hustle and bustle of the market life, the variety of traders and customers and all under one roof! The Market hosts over 100 shops including many independent, small local businesses. My own business Dizzy Miss James was started at a monthly stall at the Make & Mend right outside The French Oven. It was a perfect site for a pitch as their cakes and pastries kept me fuelled for the day, giving me the energy to sell my wares to both passers by and regulars.

Last weekend was Mothering Sunday a day to celebrate, give thanks and spread love to all the wonderful Mams out there. The French Oven produced a array of beautiful cakes, pastries and delicious, tasty, culinary delights to mark the occasion.

And back by popular demand they produced Afternoon Tea & a few other new ideas. Such as these 4 splendid delivery or collection Boxes:

There's a box to suite everyone!

I was lucky enough to be given a fantastic *box to try by The French Oven. It compiled of a collection of traditional cream cakes galore. Any cake lovers dream! Once I collected the box direct from the shop, I headed straight over to my parents to share the joy of this scrumptious creamy heaven with my lovely Mam. She has no idea about this and even a little squeal of delight came out when she opened the box. It was worth it just to see her face!

I was so impressed with the quality and taste of the cakes and it helped make Mother's Day that little bit extra special for my Mam. I would defiantly get a box again either to eat in with friends or take out for a picnic with a loved one. And if you haven't had a chance to visit the Grainger Market yet please do there are so many places to eat and shop and it has such a great market atmosphere!
