Bohemian Bedrooms

As the days grow darker and the temperature drops I've starting settling into hibernation mode, oversized jumpers, cosy quilts and a large mug of hot chocolate. I love nothing more at this time of year than snuggling by the fire wrapped in a blanket or tucked up in bed in my comfy pyjamas  watching a movie.

Here are few of my favourite bedrooms that are inspiring me at the moment, I could happily set up camp for the winter in any of these. I love the bohemian style full of intricate patterns, texture and layers, a mixture of vintage and modern combined together for an original look.

I'm a massive fan of geometric shapes and I'm crushing over these quilts from Urban Outfitters even the simplest of rooms can be enhanced and with the addition of a colourful vibrant throw.

Beautiful handmade crochet always gives a room such a homely feel.

What's your favourite wintertime comfort?

Mojitos And Jet Setting

At the end of October I went on my first holiday abroad in 6 years and what better place to do it than in sunny Tenerife!

The holiday was fantastic! We had beautiful weather, spa days, indulged in far too much food and drink and experienced some amazing sunsets.

My favourite part of the holiday was sitting by the beach at the mojito shack, cocktail in hand watching the sun go down.

Above is me after a few of those lovely mojitos with my head in a tree (as you do).

Summer Ices

Looking through my picture library I found this from back in August.  It was a lovely day at the beach with my mam & dad we enjoyed sun, sea, chips and ice-cream.

And I couldn't resist having my photo taken beside this cool ices sign.

1950's Special Make and Mend Market

There were fun and shenanigans on Saturday at the Grainger Market. It was the November Make and Mend Art, Crafts and Design Market but this month it had a 50's theme. I was very excited as I LOVE this decade and it's an excuse to get dressed up!

Here is me with my red polka dot head scarf. I was wearing a lovely blue and white print dress under my thick coat but due to the extreme chilly weather my dress never saw the light of day. They were all rocking some awesome 50's styling, check out more photos from the event here.
If you ever get a chance to visit the Make and Mend please do you will get to see some lovely talented local designers like Britt Coxon, Flip Knit Stich, Pretender to the Throne, Dabble Dabble and Low Moon Over High Town.
